Yes, as it is now, this victory condition ruins the game and it needs to be changed. Right now god mode is the only feature sorely needed and missing for cheaters, for the rest there are already cheat codes in the game's engine (that may change in the future since some developers choose to get rid of the console and cheats in subsequent patches, but at the moment they work just fine).
